To add a new vending machine to Vend IT follow the directions below.
From the Locations screen tap the menu icon
Tap Add Machine from the popup menu
The Add Machine popup will show. Add your machine details here
Device ID: This is the ePort device ID
Device Name: Pick a name for your machine.
Physical Location: Enter a short description of where the machine is located.
Address / City / State Code / Zip: These fields are all optional. The app does not currently utilize address information.
Once complete tap Save.
This will take you back to the Locations screen.
Tap the menu icon and then tap Update Now.
Anytime you press Update Now it will send any stock or machine information on your phone immediately up to your account and will download any changes from the server.
You should now see your new machine listed on the Locations screen.
You new machine will show up in Black. This means it has been added to the app but not configured with products yet.
The next setup in setup is to open the machine and configure the machine with products.
